OOTD - Denim and Monochrome

Hey everyone! The weather's been lovely lately so thought I'd do another post for you today :) I went to my friend Amie's for dinner, and just wore something casual yet nice. I love this denim top from Glassons, half my wardrobe consists of denim pieces of clothing, but when I saw this I couldn't resist! Its a nice change from denim button-up shirts, and I love the pockets on the front. The only bad thing is that it gets so crushed! I promise you I did iron it! Also loving monochrome at the moment, I can't get enough of this bag from Sportsgirl!

Top - Glassons, Jeans - General Pants, Shoes - Rubi Shoes, Bag - Sportsgirl, Watch - Queen Victoria Markets, Rings - Lovisa, Necklace - Lovisa

I'll try to do another post again soon! I'm starting to get in the habit of posting and I'm loving it! Can't wait to get more followers and check out everyones blogs.
I've got an order from Sportsgirl and ASOS coming in the mail so I'll do posts of those soon.

Korres Lip Butter in Quince

I have wanted to get my hands on one of these babies for so long! After realising ASOS sold them I couldn't resist. I bought "Quince", which is a really nice pink. It looks way brighter in the tub than on my lips. When its on its like my natural lip better.. Except way better.
Its such a good product for someone like me who has very dry lips, constantly! I love lipsticks but I find they dry my lips out so much, so its nice to have a bit of colour and have hydrated lips!
The only criticisms I would have is that the tub is so much smaller than I expected for some reason. Also, although the packaging is so cute it's kind of annoying having to dip your finger in it, I much prefer tubes.

Ps.. the colour looks way brighter on my lips in real life! My camera didn't want to cooperate today!
Have you tried the Korres Lip Butters?

Essie In The Cab-ana

After months of lusting after this beautiful shade and looking at it on peoples blogs, I finally purchased it! This is definitely one of my top shades for Spring. The texture is really nice and thick which I find is a must with nail polish. However it didn't last as long as I would have hoped without chipping, especially for an Essie polish. It's such a striking colour though that it makes up for it.
It took me so long to take a photo that did it justice, as it appears very different in different lighting.

What do you think of the colour? Are you a fan of Essie polishes?

The First Day of Spring

Hey lovelies, finally got around to doing an outfit post for you today! The weather was really nice for a change so even got to wear a dress! This was one of the many dresses I picked up in Melbourne, I'm really loving prints at the moment so was really excited when I found it in the Dotti Sale.
I was looking paler than usual today so added a pop of colour on my lips, a cute Revlon shade I've been wanting to wear for a while.

Dress - Dotti, Sunglasses - Dotti, Bag - Sportsgirl, Flats - Rubi Shoes
I'll try to do another post for you soon, but work and Uni are so full on I don't know when I'll get the chance!
What do you guys think of prints? Are you loving them as much as I am?

Chi Chi Mile High Club

Hey everyone, thought I'd do a post today on a nail polish I'm currently loving! I purchased this a while ago from Myer and forgot about it for a while, but when I found it at the bottom of my nail polish drawer I fell in love all over again!
It's a really pretty pastel purple colour, and the texture of the polish is amazing, its thick but shiny. In the photo I have 2 coats on, and it stays perfect and doesn't chip off for at least a week which in the world of nail polish is amazing. Especially good seeing as I work in Bunnings and my nails usually get pretty knocked around!
I found the formula much better than a few OPI's I've been wearing lately which only last a few days.

What do you think of this colour? Do you have a perfect all round polish?

Melbourne!

The shopping in Melbourne definitely lived up to our expectations! 3 days of shopping, discovering the Melbourne sites and dining in the cute alleyway cafes. Although it was probably the worst thing to happen to our bank accounts, the cute clothes we came home with could definitely be justified.

Amie outside one of the cute cupcake shops we saw on the way to the Victorian markets
Relaxing after a hard day of shopping! I admit I got caught up in the shopping and forgot I had to fit everything in my suitcase, and ended up buying makeup storage drawers.. I somehow managed to fit in it my suitcase, but it involved me stuffing most of my belongings inside the drawers and wearing majority of my clothing on the plane. Opps!
We visited the streets which are famous for their graffiti, so interesting to see graffiti as actual art - especially because most graffiti in Sydney is vandalism!
The cafes and shops had such quirky interior design features. So many of the cafes had mini terrarium light bulbs which were so cute! They gave this industrial indie feel, it was so interesting to see all the items we lust over on Urban Outfitters Apartment in action.
Sleep deprived and hyped up on sugar, us leaving Melbourne with full suitcases and aching feet!

Overall it was a great trip! Its amazing how different the shopping is, and it was really good to get away from work and normal life for a while!

Melbourne wishlist

Melbourne wishlist
After watching all our friends on Facebook have an amazing time in different countries, my friend Amie and I decided to book a trip to Melbourne! Although it's not quite as good as being in Italy, we thought it would be a good change and a chance to do some good shopping!
I've bought so many clothes lately so don't really need to buy any more.. but i just keep telling myself a girl can't have too many clothes!
I will do an outfit post soon to show you, the weathers been so horrible lately though that I just havent had a chance.
These are some of the things I will be looking for in Melbourne
1. Studded tote
2. Nail polish
3. Cute clutch
4. Boyfriend watch
5. Gold necklace
6. Cut out heeled boots
7. Denim Pinafore
8. Studded sandals

My main goal for the weekend is to find a cute denim pinafore that doesn't make me look like a 5 year old, which I probably won't be successful in finding as I'm guessing it kind of comes with the territory hahah.
I'll keep you updated on all my Melbourne purchases, hopefully the shopping will be good!
