Life of a Uni Student

Hey everyone! It's been so hectic at uni lately so thought I'd do a different kind of post for you today. Selfies (yay!). Uni is definitely the place I struggle to find outfits for, especially in the cold! The weathers been really nice lately so thought I'd take advantage.
And I just got an internship at a PR company! Its awesome experience, so I've been wearing some of the items below but dressed up. I got to go to an event the other night with them and it was great!
Let me know if you guys like posts like this, because it's so much easier taking photos myself. Getting someone to take all your outfit posts is so hard when you're short on time like I am recently!

Golden elephants

Hey everyone! Have another post for you today, in my favourite dress! Don't know why I saved this post for so long. It's another beauty from MinkPink, one of my favourite brands, who make the most adorable dresses. And I love anything elephants!
I usually wear it with a belt because it's more flattering, as the style is very smock like. I do love myself a smock dress but they really don't do your figure any favours!

Dress - MinkPink 'Pride Lands' Dress
The back's not the most flattering thing, especially with the belt, but if I'm at uni or something I'll wear a black cami underneath so it hides some of that white!
I usually pair it with a plain black bag and black sandals, as the pattern is so busy I don't like to draw attention away from it.
How would you style it?

DIY Flower Crowns

Whats the best way to procrastinate from final uni exams? Make flower crowns!
My friend Amie and I have been wanting to make them for a long time, but we could never find flowers that we liked the look of. But when we found these beauties for $2.50 in a 2 dollar shop we couldn't resist! They came with 7 in a bunch, and we got the headbands from Coles for $5.50. So the whole project only cost us $8, which is so much cheaper than they sell for on Etsy or in shops!

Making them was really simple too, all we did was hot glue gun each flower stalk to the headband and then stuck the leaves on the back to hide all the glue marks.
Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday if you ask me!
