Internship Wardrobe

Hey everyone!

So I'm interning at Prevention Magazine once a week which is great! And it's so fun being able to wear heels every day. 

Seeing as I'm in my second year of uni it's pretty much the time to do internships and get experience in the fields I'm interested in. I've also been looking at international exchange programs in America, specifically around California. If you've done an exchange or known someone that has, I'd love your feedback on them!

Autumn Essentials

Hey everyone! Thought I'd do a post today on outfit perfect for Autumn. It's been getting a bit colder here so I've been wearing outfits like this to uni everyday. Nothing better than an anorak and jeans combo! You can easily dress this up too with boots instead of converse. I got this quilted jumper the other day from Glassons and I love it. I'll be buying the black version soon!

Life of a Uni Student

Hey everyone! It's been so hectic at uni lately so thought I'd do a different kind of post for you today. Selfies (yay!). Uni is definitely the place I struggle to find outfits for, especially in the cold! The weathers been really nice lately so thought I'd take advantage. 

And I just got an internship at a PR company! Its awesome experience, so I've been wearing some of the items below but dressed up. I got to go to an event the other night with them and it was great!

I'm backkk! Updates!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the complete lack of posting over the past few months. I know its no excuse but work has been hectic and whenever I have a day off no one that can take photos for me is! But I've bought a tripod and plan to change that.

It was my birthday last week and I got some gorgeous presents, these below are my favourites!

 I finally got a Marc Jacobs watch! After years of lusting over them, I finally decided to get one. Choosing which one was so difficult though! I also got 5 pandora rings, these two are my favourites and on my other hand I wear a beautiful amethyst one and two others, I'll post a photo of them later :)

And I bought a Mimco bag! I also got a matching purse. I absolutely love this bag, the quilted back is my favourite.

Have any of you guys got any of these? What do you think about pairing rose gold and silver in the same outfit?            

The Broke Aussie Girl's Naked Palette

Hey everyone! Got a different type of post for you today, an eyeshadow review! And it's not just any review. It's a Naked Palette dupe! If you're into beauty, you'll definitely have the Urban Decay palette, or you would have seen it and wanted it!

Sadly though, in Australia it's really hard to get. Its only available on one website (the Beauty Bay), or you could go through eBay. I probably wouldn't suggest eBay though as it will most likely be a fake; if its too good to be true then it probably is. I fell for it, and actually bought one from eBay which was a fake. I complained though and got my money back and got to keep the palette!

Although its not as great as the real one, it's still sooo pigmented and it'll do until I can get my hands on the real one.

I found this other dupe in Myer, its Chi Chi's 'Nudes' palette, and I'm in love! Its not quite as pigmented as the eBay copy, but doesn't have as much fall out and stays nicely on your lids.

I'll do another post for you in a few months because I'm planning on getting the Naked palette for Christmas! Have any of you Australian girls bought it from the Beauty Bay? How was the shipping? I'm worried it's going to get ruined in transit! 

Feelin Green

Yes, I know I should have ironed my shirt. In my defence those lines didn't look as pressed in in real life! Anyway, this leather skirt is becoming my favourite, so wearable and super flattering! I love my skater skirts and this is no different. Had my last day of uni today (yay!) and wore this out for drinks after. Still have my exams, but I can't believe I've nearly finished my first year of uni! Feels like I finished school yesterday, where has this year gone?! 

I have a pretty exciting post coming up for you soon, any Aussie beauty gurus that follow my blog will (hopefully) be excited as I am! As you would know, the Urban Decay Naked Palette is near to impossible to get your hands on in Australia. And I've found some pretty decent dupes for less than half the price! Keep tuned because I'll be posting it within the next few days.
